NIGERIA TO MAKE n2B annually FROM PRIVATE JETS OWNERS

Bishop David Oyedepo, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Dr. Mike Adenuga are among the top 10 Nigerian billionaires who will pay hundreds of millions of naira annually as luxury tax due to the imposition of a whooping $4,000 luxury tax by Aviation Ministry on private jet owners and operators per departure.

According to our sources, among the four jets owned by Bishop Oyedepo (Gulfstream V and G550, Bombardier and Gulfstream G430), he uses three regularly personally and for his
missionary work.

Thus, his luxury tax annually will be an average of N399 million. Alhaji Aliko Dangote who has three private jets in his hanger will also pay an average of N399 million per annum. Dr. Mike Adenuga, Jnr, whose Falcon 7x and Bombardier jet are used for personal and business purpose should pay an average of N266 million. Governor Rotimi Amaechi and his Akwa Ibom counterpart, Governor Godswill Akpabio would shell out an average of N166.4 million annually. Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor falls into the same category of N166.4 million naira payer.
Meanwhile, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, Jide Omokorie and Ifeanyi Ubah would pay an average of N133 million annually, while Jimoh Ibrahim falls within the N100 million category. Furthermore, the richest woman in Nigeria, Folorunsho Alakija would spend N66 million on luxury tax.

The clash of the titans between the Federal Government and private jet owners reached a crescendo with the imposition of the $4,000 luxury tax on private jet owners and operators per departure. A memo was sent to all private jet operators stating that Nigerian registered private jets would henceforth pay $3,000 for every departure, while foreign registered private jets would pay $4,000.

Imagine applying the least sum out of the aforementioned into alleviating the poverty stricken Nigerians annually or using that money for skill acquisitions for those that desire to be productive. the results will sure be massive.
But my advice? Use this as a challenge to make your way to the top. The goodnews is that; YOU CAN!.
Bende Export-Import Limited, a subsidiary of Slok Group, says Nigerian charcoal is in high demand among EU countries because they are of good quality, easy to light and can burn for a long time. Benjamin Kalu, MD/CEO, Bende Export Limited, who disclosed this during a round table discussion organised by the company for exporters in the country, said EU countries like Belgium, Spain, Poland, United Kingdom, etc are biggest buyers of Nigerian charcoal.
According to him, his company has been exporting on average 200-300 containers of hardwood charcoal per month to buyers in    EU, adding, “EU customers want charcoal that is compliant with quality control in terms of size and moisture content. Exporter must comply or lose money.”
He lamented that there are not as many Nigerians in the export business as importers and most of exporters do not last more than one or two years in the business and they fizzle out. In order to address this problem, he said his company has kicked off a campaign aimed at grooming one million new generation of genuine exporters over the next three years.  “My focus is to groom a new generation of exporters; men and women of integrity who can make money for themselves and the country through foreign exchange.
“We are working hard to achieve this target in the next three years and the strategy we want to apply is training the trainers. We want to do this programme in the 36 states of the federation including Abuja, the federal capital territory. It is going to be moving from place tom place and it will be quarterly,” he said
He said that the move was his company’s response to  drive by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, NEPC, to boost the country’s exporters base, noting: “Nigeria  is the least when it comes to non-oil export according to the ranking by the World Trade Organisation, WTO.
Kalu, a lawyer turned exporter, said: “That spurred me into action and I said: we have to do something about that for non-oil export because Nigeria has been a mono economy depending on oil.
“We are looking forward to partnering with the Central Bank of Nigeria, Ministry of Agric, and the NEPC as one of the training organization; not only training but also finding exporters contracts, support and mentor them and see that we break the gap between the suppliers and the importers,” he said.
This is yet another business opportunity for those seeking business expansion and attaining higher financial status in the nearest future. Depending on your choice of money and what success mean to you. if interested in this business, you can state your decision and lets lead you through.

SMART STATES GO AGRICULTURAL

With the recent seriousness on the part of the Federal government of Nigeria, as regards more attention on Agriculture. One will ordinarily expect many governors to act in such directions as to create more wealth for its states. Especially as it concerns the non-oil producing states.
But for some selfish reasons, they prefer being perpetual beggars and dependants on the EXCESS CRUDE ACCOUNT. They make so much researches on the oil revenue and explorations that they get so busy at begging and activism while some smart Governors take advantage of the shift.

States like Enugu, and Ebonyi were known for Rice production in those years. It created so much job opportunities and fed so many hungry mouths, atleast around the geo-political zones. But today, less effort and attention are paid to such sector.
In Anambra, who dosn’t know about Onitsha YAM, what scale does it produce today? What scale does Adani Rice produce? While the south Eastern governors depend on revenues generated by die-hard business men and women, states like Ondo, are busy taking the stride of Agriculture.
Recently, Ondo state government hinted that it is planning to cultivate 3,000 hectares of rice farmland in each of the 3 senatorial districts of the state towards ensuring food security in the state.
While speaking to Journalists, the State Commissioner for Agriculture, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo made this disclosure during an inspection of a rice demonstration plantation in Ayede- Ogbese in Akure North local government area.

If the target of the state government is met and the project eventually becomes a success, Ondo state will be able to boast of self-sufficiency and even become an export market for Rice in no distant time.

And to achieve this feat, the state government decided to train indigenous farmers with the consultation of a Malaysian expert, Jamaludin Bin Jaya, who is the Manager and Consultant involved in training the indigenous farmers in rice cultivation.
He explained that a total of 22 farmers are under studying the experts in the new methods of rice cultivation.
One of the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture sponsored by the state government on training to Malaysia, Omolakin Oluwole says he has gained enough knowledge as he will be giving professional advice to rice farmers in the state.

The State Commissioner for Agriculture, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo reveals that the target of Ondo state is to prepare about 9,000 hectares of Rice plantation; 3 thousand in each of the Senatorial districts of the state, saying farmers have learnt a new method of planting rice which will bring more yield.  This is what a leader should be doing.

THE PHYLOSOPHY OF ENERGY AND PROSPERITY

Energy is the working power in all achievement. Energy converts inert coal into fire, and water it transmutes into steam; it vivifies and intensifies the commonest talent until it approaches to genius, and when it touches the mind of the dullard, it turns into a living fire that which before was sleeping in inertia.
Energy is a moral virtue, its opposing vice being laziness. As a virtue, it can be cultivated, and the lazy man can become energetic by forcibly arousing himself to exertion.
Compared with the energetic man, the lazy man is not half alive. Even while the latter is talking about the difficult of doing a thing, the former is doing it.
The active man has done a considerable amount of work before the lazy man has roused himself from sleep. While the lazy man is waiting for an opportunity, the active man has gone out, and met and utilized half a dozen opportunities.
He does things while the other is rubbing his eyes.
Energy is one of the primary forces: without it nothing can be accomplished. It is the basic element in all forms of action. The entire universe is a manifestation of tireless, though inscrutable energy.
Energy is, indeed, life, and without it there would be no universe, no life. When a man has ceased to act, when the body lies inert, and all the functions have ceased to act, then we say he is dead; and in so far as a man fails to act, he is so far dead.

Man, mentally and physically, is framed for action, and not for swinish ease. Every muscle of the body (being a lever for exertion) is a rebuke to the lazy man. Every bone and nerve is fashioned for resistance; every function and faculty is there for a legitimate use. All things have their end in action; all things are perfected in use.
This being so, there is no prosperity for the lazy man, no happiness, no refuge and no rest; for him, there is not even the ease which he covets, for he at last becomes a homeless outcast, a troubled, harried, despised man, so that the proverb wisely puts it that "The lazy man does the hardest work", in that, avoiding the systematic labor of skill, he brings upon himself the hardest lot.
Yet energy misapplied is better than no energy at all. This is powerfully put by St. John in the words: "I would have you either hot or cold; if you are lukewarm I will spew you out of my mouth". The extremes of heat and cold here symbolize the transforming agency of energy, in its good and bad aspects.
The lukewarm stage is colorless, lifeless, useless; it can scarcely be said to have either virtue or vice, and is merely barren empty, fruitless.
The man who applies his abounding energy to bad ends, will, using the very power with which he strives to acquire his selfish ends, bring upon him such difficulties, pains, and sorrows, that will compel him to learn by experience, and so at last to re-fashion his base of action.
At the right moment, when his mental eyes open to better purposes, he will turn round and cut new and proper channels for the outflow of his power, and will then be just as strong in good as he formerly was in evil.

This truth is beautifully crystallized in the old proverb, "The greater the sinner, the great the saint".
Energy is power, and without it there will be no accomplishment; there will not even be virtue, for virtue does not only consist of not doing evil, but also, primarily, of doing good.
There are those who try, yet fail through insufficient energy. Their efforts are too feeble to produce positive results. Such are not vicious, and because they never do any deliberate harm, are usually spoken of as good men that fail.
But to lack the initiative to do harm is not to be good; it is only to be weak and powerless. He is the truly good man who, having the power to do evil, yet chooses to direct his energies in ways that are good.
Without a considerable degree of energy, therefore, there will be no moral power. What good there is, will be latent and sleeping; there will be no going forth of good, just as there can be no mechanical motion without the motive power.
Energy is the informing power in all doing in every department of life, whether it be along material or spiritual lines.
The call to action, which comes not only from the soldier but from the lips or pen of every teacher in every grade of thought, is a call to men to rouse their sleeping energy, and to do vigorously the task in hand. Even the men of contemplation and mediation never cease to rouse their disciples to exertion in meditative thought. They issue a call to men to rouse their sleeping energy, and to do vigorously the task in hand.

Energy is alike needed in all spheres of life, and not only are the rules of the soldier, the engineer and the merchant rules of action, but nearly all the precepts of the saviours, sages, and saints are precepts of doing.

The advice of one of the Great Teachers to his disciples - "Keep wide awake", tersely expresses the necessity for tireless energy if one's purpose is to be accomplished, and is equally good advice to the salesman as to the saint.
"Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty", and liberty is the reaching of one's fixed end. It was the same Teacher that said: "If anything is to be done, let a man do it at once; let him attack it vigorously!"
The wisdom of this advice is seen when it is remembered that action is creative, that increase and development follow upon legitimate use. To get more energy we must use to the full that which we already possess.
Only to him that has is given more. Only to him that puts his hand vigorously to some task does power and freedom come.
But energy, to be productive, must not only be directed towards good ends, it must be carefully controlled and conserved.
"The conservation of energy" is a modern term expressive of that principle in nature by which no energy is wasted or lost, and the man whose energies are to be fruitful in results must work intelligently upon this principle.
Noise and hurry are so much energy running to waste. "More haste, less speed". The maximum of noise usually accompanies the minimum of accomplishment. With much talk there is little doing.
Working steam is not heard. It is the escaping steam which makes a great noise. It is the concentrated powder which drives the bullet to its mark.
In so far as a man intensifies his energies by conserving them, and concentrating them upon the accomplishment of his purpose, just so far does he gain quietness and silence, in response and calmness. It is great delusion that noise means power.
There is no greater baby than the blustering boaster.
Physically a man, he is but an infant mentally, and having no strength to anything, and no work to show, he tries to make up for it by loudly proclaiming what he has done, or could do.
"Still waters run deep," and the great universal forces are inaudible. Where calmness is, there is the greatest power. Calmness is the sure indication of a strong, well trained, patiently disciplined mind.
The calm man knows his business, be sure of it. His words are few, but they tell. His schemes are well planned, and they work true, like a well-balanced machine. He sees a long way ahead, and makes straight for his object.
The enemy, Difficulty, he converts into a friend, and makes profitable use of him, for he has studied well how to "agree with his adversary while he is in the way with him". Like a wise general, he has anticipated all emergencies. Indeed, he is the man who is prepared beforehand.
In his meditations, in the counsels of his judgment, he has conferred with causes, and has caught the bent of all contingencies.
He is never taken by surprise; is never in a hurry, is safe in the keeping of his own steadfastness, and is sure of his ground.
You may think you have got him, only to find, the next moment, that you have tripped in your haste, and that he has got you, or rather that you, wanting calmness, have hurried yourself into the dilemma which you had prepared for him.
Your impulse cannot do battle with his deliberation, but is foiled at the first attack; your uncurbed energy cannot turn aside the wisely directed steam of his concentrated power.
He is "armed at all points". By a mental Ju-Jitsu acquired through self discipline, he meets opposition in such a way that it destroys itself. Upbraid him with angry words, and the reproof hidden in his gentle reply searches to the very heart of your folly, and the fire of your anger sinks into the ashes of remorse.
Approach him with a vulgar familiarity, and his look at once fill you with shame, and brings you back to your senses. As he is prepared for all events, so he is ready for all men; though no men are ready for him.
All weaknesses are betrayed in his presence, and he commands by an inherent force which calmness has rendered habitual and unconscious.
Calmness, as distinguished from the dead placidity of languor, is the acme of concentrated energy. There is a focused mentality behind it. In agitation and excitement the mentality is dispersed. It is irresponsible, and is without force or weight. The fussy, peevish, irritable man has no influence. He repels, and not attracts.
He wonders why his "easy going" neighbor succeeds, and is sought after, while he, who is always hurrying, worrying and troubling, fails and is avoided.
His neighbor, being a calmer man, not more easy going but more deliberate, gets through more work, does it more skillfully, and is more self possessed and manly. This is the reason of his success and influence. His energy is controlled and used, while the other man's energy is dispersed and abused.
Energy, then, is the first pillar in the temple of prosperity, and without it, as the first and most essential equipment, there can be no prosperity. No energy means no capacity; there is no manly self respect and independence.
Amongst the unemployed will be found many who are unemployable through sheer lack of this first essential of work energy.
The man that stands many hours a day at a street corner with his hands in his pockets and a pipe in his mouth, waiting for some one to treat him to a glass of beer, is little likely to find employment, or to accept it should it come to him.
Physically flabby and mentally inert, he is every day becoming more so, and is making himself more unfit to work, and therefore unfit to live. The energetic man may pass through temporary periods of unemployment and suffering, but it is impossible for him to become one of the permanently unemployed.
He will either find work or make it, for inertia is painful to him, and work is a delight; and he who delights in work will not long remain unemployed. 1
The lazy man does not wish to be employed. He is in his element when doing nothing. His chief study is how to avoid exertion.
To vegetate in semi torpor is his idea of happiness.
He is unfit and unemployable. Even the extreme Socialist, who places all unemployment at the door of the rich, would discharge a lazy, neglectful and unprofitable servant, and so add one more to the arm of the unemployed; for laziness is one of the lowest vices repulsive to all active, right minded men.
But energy is a composite power. It does not stand alone. Involved in it are qualities which go to the making of vigorous character and the production of prosperity.
Mainly, these qualities are contained in the four following characteristics:
1. Promptitude
2. Vigilance
3. Industry
4. Earnestness
The pillar of energy is therefore a concrete mass composed of these four tenacious elements. They are enduring qualities, and are calculated to withstanding the wildest weather of adversity. They all make for life, power, capacity, and progress.
Promptitude is valuable possession. It begets reliability. ENERGY according to the scientists is exertion of power, and as always it produces something good or bad. If wisely applied, it produces success. And one will be said to prosper.

WHEN OPPORTUNITY CALLS WILL YOU KNOW.

When opportunity calls, can you recognise it? That is the beginning of success.  WHEN YOU position yourself strategically for opportunity,  it will find you eventually.  But, to many, the opportunity are viewed to be SO HARD! Now, that's where most people fail.  Life isn't a magic, it's mostly decisions that make or mar Life.  I came across this very product through a good friend, I was so sceptical in accepting the beautiful and enticing features and opportunities it portends,  I did so many researches,  asked questions, and I could not but be convinced!
Xft stands for Xtreme Fuel Treatment.  Of cause when something is extreme,  you cant juxtapose it side by side ordinary.  XFT is an American fuel saver product that has helped so many people save money and made money in the last 20years.
Now this is what Syntek global has to offer to you my Dear Young Nigerians!

XFT has logged over 3 Billion miles (5 Billion Kilometers) of successful engine operation. This equates to over 65 million hours of engine run time with XFT in the tank. It is amazingly effective and perfectly safe. It’s an ideal product for both individuals and business owners, and Syntek Global is pleased to make it available to all those seeking to reach a higher level of income and achieve their dreams.
XFT is time-tested and previously used for over 20 years by large industrial companies and sold in large 55-gallon drums. But now, XFT is available to the general public in small inexpensive bottles and foil packs for their daily use.

What It Does

XFT utilizes a unique chemical formulation to bring you the most effective solution available. It has multiple components, which means nobody else has what we have, and no other product does what XFT does. Because Xtreme Fuel Treatment is a comprehensive approach, it would take many products mixed together to even come close to giving you the same benefits!

Prolongs Engine Life and Reduces Wear

Xtreme Fuel Treatment uses a combination of ingredients that work together to prolong the life of your engine. Detergents, demulsifiers, rust & corrosion inhibitors, lubricating agents, and polymerization retardants work together to keep things clean and running smoother. The result is that the moving parts of the engine and fuel system have less friction, run longer, work better, and cost much less to maintain. Reducing these costs means more money to put towards you and your families goals and dreams.

Increases Fuel Economy

Xtreme Fuel Treatment contains an oil-soluble organo-metallic compound which functions as a "burn rate modifier" and a "catalyst". It lowers the ignition point of fuel by several hundred degrees...about 400 degrees to be more exact! Put simply, this means that it creates a longer, better burn, which allows your engine to burn much more of the injected fuel, instead of sending unused fuel out the exhaust as pollutants and emissions. This means, using less fuel, providing you better fuel economy. The cleaning process also removes carbon build up, enabling the engine to run smoother, and your vehicle to drive better for longer, again, money saved! You also save money at the pump with XFT as its properties allow those using higher octane fuel to use a lower octane, saving them even more right at the pump!

Reduces Harmful Emissions and Pollutants

One very important benefit of using Xtreme Fuel Treatment is that it reduces the amount of harmful emissions produced by your vehicle by up to 33%. As we have said, it improves the combustion process in the engine which in turn reduces the harmful emissions produced. Reducing up to 1/3 of your vehicle's emissions is a significant way to make a meaningful difference for the air quality of our world, and make a difference for the environment, protecting the future of our children.

Why Does This Product Work So Well?

The oil-soluble organo-metallic compound found in Xtreme Fuel Treatment simply means it can easily mix with other oil-based products evenly without any problems of separation or an uneven concentration in the fuel. If you use a pill or tablet form of an additive, it must dissolve and be dispersed through the fuel tank before it can even get into your engine and by the time the tablet or pill is completely dissolved you've already burned through precious amounts of fuel. Xtreme Fuel Treatment makes sure every drop of fuel is treated before it burns in your engine.

To Stand out in Your Field, You need 7.

Fighting for mindshare in a crowded market? I know, it can sometimes feel impossible, right? Not that it’s a new struggle! You’ve been fighting against your local competitors for years, trying to convince customers that your business can better serve them and that you meet their needs better than that other guy. But then the Web and social media came along and now it feels harder than ever. Because you’re up against everyone, everywhere. Even if you’re not competing on product, you’re competing on attention.

. To stand out, you need to be more present than all the like competitors out there. And you can do it.Whether you’re just starting out or you’d like to increase your presence in your market,
below are SEVEN tips to help your small business stand out on the Web.

1. Be an Educational HubIn case you haven’t noticed, we are in the middle of a content marketing revolution. And that’s something you need to be a part of. Regardless of what industry you serve, setting yourself up to be THE educational hub on the topic is going to help you win favor and reputation in your space. For example, in my corner of the world, Search Engine Land is the hub for everything Internet marketing-related. That means when I’m looking for information, I go there. When I need a source for a story, I go there. When I need expert opinion, I go there.See the power? Setting yourself up as that hub by focusing on creating resource guides, putting out consistent authoritative content, and being seen participating in subject matter webinars/conferences/interviews will help you to establish trust and visibility. Two things vital to your success online.

2. Be a ResourceSure, you’re going to establish yourself as a resource by the educational content you provide on your Web site, but don’t stop there. Make time to be on Twitter participating in chats, fields questions on LinkedIn, respond to comments on other blogs, guest post on niche sites, etc. By providing content and being seen on sites outside of just your own, you establish yourself as a subject-matter expert. While we can all understand the desire to hoard all your knowledge on your own site, let it go. You’ll be rewarded in the form of referrals, new traffic, and business karma.

3. Be a PromoterLearn to be a better promoter. Not of yourself, but of other people. Seek out the awesome work that other people are doing and then share it with your audience. You look smarter by sharing other people’s smart work, and you win some goodwill with the person you’re highlighting. We remember people who promoted us when we need it. Find ways to promote other people on your blog, in your company newsletter, in social media, at events, etc. It will help you get far more attention than just talking about yourself. [Let other people do that!]

4. Be SocialYeah, yeah, you already know you’re supposed to be on social media channels like Twitter and Facebook and LinkedIn, but don’t just be there, really use them. Use these channels to do market research on your industry, use them to interact and ask questions, and use them to make yourself part of your customers’ every day lives and their routine. This is very often the difference between the local cafĂ© I frequent and the one I just know about – it’s that the owner has taken the time to chat with me on Twitter or they let me know what’s fresh out of the oven on Facebook. These things matter. They especially matter in business where everything is based on relationships. There’s a great cafe in my hometown called Francesca’s Cafe. I go there in part because the food is delicious and cost effective, but I also go because the owner, Francesca, tweets me when she has a fresh stock of pumpkin syrup for my lattes or when blueberry muffins have come out of the oven. These little bits of humanization are powerful and things customers latch onto and remember.

5. Be an Email Ninja. There are few relationships more intimate than the relationships you have with the people in your email inbox. That’s sacred space. You don’t give that to just anyone. You give it to the brands and the companies and the people that you want to keep in touch with. That you want to hear about it and remain aware of their happenings. If you’re not building an email list, maybe check out a company likeInfusionsoft and see if it’s not something you think would help your business create those all-important relationships.  Its one thing to talk to your customers on Twitter. It’s another to be the first email they see when they’re sipping their morning coffee.  It’s a whole new level of relationship.

6. Be Specific About Who You Are. Standing out in a sea of competition means giving people something to remember. To do that, be specific about who you are.Maybe you’re a local print shop that only uses recycled inks or papers. Or you use a process that others don’t.You’re a caterer who only uses locally-grown meat and vegetables. Or you’re the most expensive guy in town because of how elaborate your events are.Who you are in business, create your marketing story and work that into your marketing strategy. Where businesses get lost is when they’re unable to define themselves and what’s different about the way they do business. Know what’s different about you and then talk about it. Talk about it a lot.

7. Be What’s Missing…okay, so we’re not all sure what’s different about us or who we are in the niche. If you’re looking for a place to start, identify what’s missing. Map out your competition and look at their price points, their offerings, how they (appear) to do what they do, and find the holes. Is there a segment of the population they’re ignoring? Is there a process they’re not doing? Is there room for you to identify yourself as being an alternative to the norm? Keep your eyes open for opportunities that your competitors are missing. Those are just a handful of ways I’d encourage a small business to make themselves stand out online.
What other techniques do you use? What’s worked in helping you find your audience?
